Product description Monoclonal anti- prion protein (PrP); purified mouse immunoglobulin The antibody isotype is IgG2bκ Concentration 1mg/ml in 0.1M Tris/Glycine, pH 7.0, >95% pure. The antibody is sterile filtered and contains 10mM sodium azide as preservative. Note: Purified antibodies can be supplied without sodium azide preservative on request at the same price. The antibody also reacts with sheep, mouse, hamster and bovine PrPC and PrPSc (unpublished data). The epitope is defined within the sequence 93-102 of human PrP. Storage and Stability This product may be stored at 0-5°C for continuous or daily use. For long term storage the antibody can be frozen in aliquots at -20°C. Repeated freeze-thawing should be avoided. Applications ICSM 35 can be used for detection of PrP by immunoprecipitation, western blotting, FACS and immunohistochemistry. (WB >1mg/ml, IP & FACS 10mg/ml, the antibody has not been titrated to give a minimum working concentration) Research Use Only This product is for Research Use Only and must not be used for diagnostic, therapeutic or manufacturing purposes.
